Yeah just came back from there .. Got a great selection of TBW to choose from and a lot better priced than the competition ..
Which model is yours and how does it compare to the stock bars ??
Bout how big are you , I'm 6 foot and have a 34" or so reach ..
I was looking at the sweeper then I saw the 12" apes ..
HHMM
I'm 5'11". These are much better for me than stock bars. Closer and higher. I had WG bars on for several months. They are basically small apes. I didn't like the wrist angle of them. Mine are the 300504. Which are the tallest sweepers they make. One thing about the apes is they are fat so you can run your wires internal. That's col but a lot more work.
I just had the dealer install the Wildones Chubby 517 Road Glide bars on my '08.
Man what a difference. I recommend them. I'm 5'11" and sort of short-armed so the new bars put my hands considerably closer to me. Now I can lean back against my rider backrest, put my feet on the highway pegs and relax for the long haul. With that six gallon tank I can see me putting lots of miles under me before needing a stretch.
Be aware that Wildone's makes a special bar for the '08 to accomodate the TBW. Don't buy the old style they don't fit without modification.
The dealer said they had to send out to make up a different brake line to work with these bars because my bike has ABS. The look is clean with the internal wiring.
Check out the wildones website for a photo of the Road Glide #517 bars.
