After some more miles on this build I can say that I would do it again. I have had no troubles and the power is always there when I want it. It is hitting about 90 ft lbs of torque at 2500 rpms and then stays consistant right around 100 ft lbs from 3000 to 5500 rpm. For me, the 258 cams are great. I do want to add the EVO 30 tooth sprocket soon and that would help the right off the line pull a bit. Hope this helps.

Rochkes, I think you are exactly right; his 258's beat us on max power, but our 255's edged him slightly on torque.

Yeah, Whitedogg, those 255's really do their job.
You've got most of what the rest of us have, for less than 1/4 of the price.
Glad you finally got her tuned. That's half the battle on these Twin Cam V-Twins.

monkish I see on your posted parts list you used heads 16952-08 Kit, Cylinder Heads, Blac. whats the diff between stock and these heads, can stock be turned into these.
