08 Ape FBW Question
The dealer tells me that if I replace my bars with the internal wires that I need a twist grip sensor kit.(3210-0800) Anyone know if this is any different from the existing grip sensor?

There is a difference. The one on your bike has some green connector behind the sensor. The one you are about to buy does not have the green connector deal that gets in the way when trying to get the wires through the bars. So I've read....
Some around here were able to do without the new sensor kit. Do a search.
