Hey guys Yesterday I ordered a set of the 2" reach handlebars for my '09 UC and the salesman also orded the Twist Grip Sensor. My question is when you pull the old one out do you ruin it so you can't reuse it? I don't have a problem replacing it if needed but was wondering .
Thanks
Santa
Just replaced the stock bars on my RG with the Heritage style with no problem. You pull the TBW sensor out of the old bars and re-install in the new ones. The Service Manual is useful for the 'how-to's' so you don't do any damage. You shouldn't need a new one if the wiring length is ok.
