RE: Do you LOVE your Road King? Std/Custom/Classic
I've had mine for 2 weeks. I love the ride. My wife keeps on trying to steal it from me. I have to admit it is easier to maneuver than the Night Train.
RE: Do you LOVE your Road King? Std/Custom/Classic
I'm on my second one. First one was a standard. That was a beaut too, but nothing like this one. Have had it 3.5 years, just paid it off, and got some new pipes for it. What a huge difference. 16K miles and counting.
Sure is nice to have a touring bike with full visibility up front. Plus it is totally convertible. I have the windshield and backrest off now. Like riding a diffrent bike. 2 for the price of one. But the best part about it? RoadKings are sooo cool.
RE: Do you LOVE your Road King? Std/Custom/Classic
Just put my Honds VTX 1300 R up for sale on cycle trader 10 minutes ago. Want a Road King or RK Classic. Priced USED POLICE RK but they weren't
much less than a 2006 Road King. I am short in stature about 5' 6" 27" inch inseam. The HD Dealer tried to sell me an HD Softail deluxe or Heritage, but
I really want a touring bike. My wife rides with me about 60 % of the time and I want comfort for both of us. Trying to stay under 19k for a new one..any
comments appreciated...
