Default wheel bearings

i just purchased a 08 flht and knew before i bought it the wagon wheels had to go.
i got a set of new take off profile laced wheels off an o7 flhx, did a bunch of inquiring before i bought them to make sure they would fit an 08, they do, but the wheel bearings must be 08 style. because the axle is slightly smaller than the 07..outer bearing size is the same however.
has anyone attempted changing the bearings themselves and since both wheels are new , can the bearings be reused if done carefully?

The bearings are pressed in. There is a critical measurement that must be maintained. I just bought new wheels, bearings, disks and tires for my 07 RG. It's $200 for the dealer to take off the old wheels and install the stuff mentioned above.

press in bearings arent hard to do. press and a socket to fit is all you need. then check runout
