07-08 Wheels

Can anyone tell me if there is any difference between 08 wheels and 07's other than bearing size? I need to pick up a laced rear wheel for a RK swingarm conversion.

I thought both had the 1" axle and the spacers could be diff.

If you look in the catalog, you order your wheel then order the bearing kit to fit by application. That makes me believe the wheel is the same, just different bearings. Hopefully my deduction is correct since I have a set of 08 SG wheels that I plan to put on my 07RK.

The wheels are the same you just need the proper bearings and inner spacers between the bearings.

there may be an issue with the thickness of the bearings. 07 with 1" axle is wider in the race than the 25mm bearing of the o8. this can affect bearing runout and spacer placement
