Well LOL when we left there I was riding a 2006 ultra Classic!!! Im stll speachless !!! This bike does have 76000 miles but mint and every service possible done on it, I am a technician for FORD motor company so the miles dont worry me at all!!!!! they had this bike priced at 16,700 special 1 day price 14,700 They traded me for 449.00 difference!!!! Ok Heritage 2005 13600 miles
2006 ultra Classic Well I think it was a hell of a trade!!!!!
Now I need a little more power BIG BORE KIT AND CAMS!!!!!!
Good for you. I rode a heritage before I bought my rk custom. I liked it. But (at the time), I weighed 365 pounds (280 now), and the wife was 200. Although, she has been hitting the gym. She has lost less weight than I have, but she looks just incredible. Just like the 19 year old that I married...Anyways, LOL, I really dug the heritage, but with our combined girth, we just didn't look right on it. So, in came the king. I have not regretted it. Although the wife now has her own bike. I am now in the middle of a big bore/cam upgrade. It isn't going to well, but I hope to have it back up and running before I lose to much more ridding time.
Congrats on the trade. I am sure the two of you will be very happy with the new (to you) Ultra.
Congrats on the new bike Bro.....and like you said why worry about the miles if your planning a engine build anyhow. Start shopping around for a place to get a nice 110ci kit from. New pistons, cylinders, heads, valve train, cams, oil pump and plate....and a new high performance clutch.....and its a done deal! You will be enjoying that bad boy for another 150K miles!
