As for the question to the old post, heated gear is probably better. But the nice thing about the seat, is it is always with you. You don't have to put it on. Plus you can have more than one tool in your toolbox.

Had but never ever used the total body setup I first got from Gerbing....just sucked it up and layered instead...likely because of the baggy way it all fit underneath, and it felt like wearing a rainsuit under my jacket.

I have Gerbing jacket, pant liner, socks and gloves that I bought 10 years ago and it’s still in great shape. Little bulkier.

Then I started looking at trimming down the bulk and found about Warm n Safe heated base layers. Loved the idea of base layer staying close to the body and less bulkier than traditional heated jacket and pant liners.

With warm n safe heated base layer all I’ve to put on is a jacket and pant with quilted liner and I’m set. Both my jacket and pants are slim and it’s a perfect set up for winter riding.

Gerbing gloves and socks work with warm n safe base layers.

Would love to add heated/cooled seat but that will raise me higher. Being 5’4 that’s no good for me. lol

What is with the stupid white text on white background?

Corbin says there heated seat is same height. But you cannot do a nose job, or you can't send it back in for a nose job. You would have to ask.

lol I think it does that when you copy paste from somewhere else.

I had just posted that message in one of my threads in “Roadtrips” and I copied it from there. I felt it fit this discussion too.
