He stated that HD has a new download available for the slipons and SE air cleaner and it is called Stage 1 "Race" download. I would like to get as much bang for the buck as I can. He also stated they are seeing 10-15 hp gains on stock TC88 motors. Anyone else have any info on this?????

Even a new race download can still be hit or miss! The download from HD is a middle-of-the-road mapping that basically "guestimate" the fuel mixture to the air intake and exhaust pipes. This download would be "satisfactory" with some popular configuration. I tried that route with my Road King and never realized all the money and time spent on it were taking me nowhere.
If you like to get real power from your stock engine, please invest the money on either the SERT or PCIII, a good set of Tru-dual exhaust system (or slip-on mufflers), and a basic air intake kit. Then, take your bike to a performance specialist, who can dyno-tuned your engine for the best torque and horsepower.
I can guarantee you, that you'll get more power (at all throttle ranges) from the stock engine, than you ever thought possible! Most stock engine (1450cc) configuration generates about 58 HP. After doing the above, you'll be increasing that to around 75 to78HP! That's almost 30% increase!
Plus, if you ever upgrade to a 103 kit, you can still use all existing set up, except for the dyno-tune, to get even more horsepower! So, please, try to do things right the first time. Hope this helps!
