08 Ultra catalytic convertors yes/no
Does anyone know for sure if the 08 Ultra 96 cu in has catalytic convertors in the mufflers ?
Maybe this has been covered, but I couldn't find it. I removed the cats from my 07 CVO Ultra and thought it helped. I don't want to pull this apart if they are not there.

I don't know for a fact, but thinking from a logical point of view, I don't think so. The heat problem is a result of working around the catalytic convertors. If there were a converter in the 09, I would expect the engine to perform drastically different from an 08.
