Default To dyno or not to?

I know this is old by now.I am scheduled to have my 06 ultra dynoed this Friday. So many buds are saying they would not do this cause of the strain on the bike.I just wanted you'all's opinion on this matter.I have been waiting for awhile to get this done.
I will let you guys know what I am running here; Should I have the oil changed after the dyno?Bike has 1948 miles on it.I appreciate the input.

If they are gonna tune it for you, then yes it will be time well spent. You'll be glad ya did. If it's just to get a report, then it's up to you.

You should be fine on the oil unitl your 2500 SVC...

Definitley get it done, especially since you've taken the time to add the SERT. My bike ran so much better after the dyno tune, it was like a new bike! Also, talk to the guy who is doing the tuning. I believe he wont take it past 5000 rpm's. When I had mine done, I was informed that even though my limiter had been extednded to 6200 rpm's that due to liability reasons a little over 5000 rpm's would be the cap. I assume this is so someones bike doesn't blow up-so it really wasn't that much of a strain. I realize you have a SERT and not a PCIII like me, but ask and see what they say.

If you can ride a Harley for 8 hours at 80 plus mph without destroying the motor they aren't gonna blow it up on the dyno. These guys know exactly what they are doing and your bike will run so much better.

Yeah, this is no big deal. The only caveat to this would be temperature. As long as they have a good fan system for the motor, there will be no worries. A good dyno tech will be watching the temps anyway. After it's tuned, you will swear you have a different bike.

What can I say, mine is going in for the first service tomorrow morning. Bike has 900 miles on it. They will be doing the first service, and then it goes on the Dyno to have the PCIII tuned with the DG Hard Krome pipes.

I picked up an extra 17 hp with the dyno tune and exhaust.

I think it was worth the time and effort
