Like many other users of this website, I ordered a set of the new 2ohm Hogtunes speakers for my Street Glide the moment they came out. After about 10 days I still hadn't received them, so I emailed Pez. Pez replied within minutes and explained that he had apparently screwed up with the address, but he would call Fed Ex and take care of it. Well, this went on for at least a week. Pez would call Fed Ex and email me the latest info - still no speakers. I would call Fed Ex and tell them what they needed to know - still no speakers. For almost a week Pez emailed me once or twice every day to keep me informed. He finally got fed up and demanded a refund from Fed Ex and he refunded my shipping charges.
Anyway, the bottom line is that my speakers finally arrived today. Pez made a minor mistake with the address, and after a whole lot of leg work on his part he got Fed Ex to understand what to do. I have no problem tolerating mistakes - I've made more than my share. I just wanted to be sure and mention on this public forum that Pez is a stand-up guy. Pez adheres to an old-fashioned business ethic that is all too uncommon these days. Thanks Pez - look forward to installing the speakers tonight! I think that I'm finally done with all of the mods to my Street Glide (yeah right)!
I emailed Pez at least three times with questions...he gets back to me the same day everytime almost within the hour. That sold me and I am waiting on the next shipment to order!!!
In addition to having great speakers, HOGTUNES(PEZ) customer service is why he and his company are so well thought of here, and why any time there is a speaker question, the first answer is HOGTUNES.
Just ordered a set for my Ultra. Had sent an email.....he called minutes later. Wound up selling me what i need instead of what wouldve put more money in his pocket. Kind of refreshing dealing with someone who seems more interested in meeting your needs rather than emptying your wallet.
When I ordered mine, I found out he lives close to me so he said come to my house and pick them up. I went to his house, and he opened the garage and said "pull it in"He installed them with a little help from me. Who else in this business would invite you to their home, and install their product, all without even knowing you? He is one standup guy, and I will always vouch for him after that.
I placed an order last week with him and within 20mins he sent me back an email stating they would ship that day. They did and arrived in less than 4 days. Its too bad that many businesses dont have this type of service and that most have lost touch with the customer but so goes life now a days.
