Due to the increasing problems of finding High Test fuel I parked it until things get better. I still have my Honda to ride. It will run on anything as long as there is a spark of octane. I had to go to Birmingham last Tuesday and it took almost an hour to find fuel. Fort Payne was out of everything. I finally had to get Regular and use some octane additive. It ran okay but my mpg sucked and I could tell it was not up to snuff.
Is anyone else having that problem?

I was going to suggest octane booster but you say you use that, I'd try another brand of booster. I never had a problem with 104 octane boost in my four wheelers, if anything I had to up the jet size so that tells me that there is more octane. Heck, to each his/her own.
Well we was having he gas problem here in TN. It looks like it is settleing down now. I went for two weeks and could not find a gas station with premium gas. Just luckly I had 10 gallons in the garage that keep me going on my ultra classic. Give it a little time and gas will be back to normal for you in Alabama.
The Atlanta (Georgia) area still has some stations that's had no gas for three weeks. Mid and premium grades are still difficult to find as of this afternoon.
I've been in all corners of Virginia in the past week and no problem finding high octane or regular either. Also, the price dropped again today locally - $3.69 for premium and $3.39 for regular, but it's higher in other parts of the state.
My 88 C.I. runs fine on regular.......(0 feet altitude in Florida)
Take it easy on the throttle and regular fuel should be ok....with octane booster, should work fine.
As close as Oklahoma is to the gulf, you would think they would be feeling some of the same effects as the southeast part. of the country. From what I hear, they have plenty of gas and gasbuddy.com says regular is at $2.89 in Oklahoma City.

I just got back from Okmulgee, Ok. and they have good prices with plenty of high test. I did not have a problem until I got to Athens, Al... Had to stop several times before I found any high test and then it was $4.26
I will see if I can find anything else, as I got it at a station and that's all they had. I will try and find some 104 octane boost
I don't mind riding the Honda it's the wife that has the problem. I ride too fast when I am on it that's all and it does ride like a log wagon
Gas shortage is pretty much confined to the Southeast (excluding Florida), from Alabama East to the coast and extending to between Charlotte & Raleigh. Most other places, no problem. This sucks....
