After asking and asking, they finally made it here. The release date was supposed to be Sept. 25th, but was moved to Oct. 15. I got the call today. I know some people said they have them, but I was getting conflicting stories from V&H, the dealer, Drag Specialties, etc. These things are huge. The guy at the dealer took a look at them and said the mounting point was offset a little as is where it attaches to the stock header. I wouldn't know since this is my first Harley and haven't seen pre '09 Monster Ovals. Anyways, I'll try to get some pics up. I'm still waiting for the V&H AC, but I might just go with the Roland Sands black billet one. I also need the Fuel Pak which hopefully I'll pick up it all up tomorrow.
Sweet your gonna like them. Sound good butt can still rock the stereo. Yeah I thought the same thing. Damn things are huge and wide, but look damn good on the bagger
Just got done installing them. They sound and look great just like everyone says. The black ones with the chrome tips just flows with the black denim paint. I'll be picking up the Roland Sands Designs black billet AC and FuelPak today so I should be good to go. The only thing is I still need to send out my factory heat shields to Jett Hot for coating. Hopefully I'll get some pics up today.
Alright, I know I've been lagging on the pics so here they are. Don't pay attention to the missing heat shield, they are all coming off to be sent to Jet Hott for flat black coating.
Current specs are:
3" lowering kit
'09 V&H black Monster Ovals
V&H Fuelpak
Roland Sands AC
Alpine deck and components
ARC mini amp
