Some Red Wing boots are still made in the U.S., like the loggers I bought for riding. Love 'em.

Frye Boots... back in the day.... were hand made... and high quality too. Hard to find here in NC... and if they were "pricey" THEN they'd be more so now.

I have "Georgia Boots Co." "roper" 12' high, steel shank, grippy sole... for right at $100, bought at Tractor Supply Company. These boots have lasted me 4 years, and 80,000 miles

I have the tour Master solution waterproof boot. Really comfy to ride and walk in. Last me a couple years 'cause I wear 'em all the time, riding or not. Around $110.00.

I wear Lowa hiking boots. Probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I can ride all day and not get hot feet. I can walk in them for long distance, stand for long periods of tme and they are leather uppers with rubber bottoms. To me they are perfect. I do have a pair of Harley riding boots that mostly stay in the closet.

Frye boots are very good. My wife has a pair of the square toe harness boots, and I'm lookin' right now on the net for some Frye Double Harness at a good price. Still in business and goin' strong out west.

Another vote for the Redwings. I tried the Harley (Wolverine?) boots and they killed my feet. Stepped into the redwings and said 'ahhhhhhhhh...' YMMV

Red Wings are great boots, but pretty heavy. Never heard of Frye? The HD's are too wide for me so I've never worn them. Also wear Ridge Ultimate duty boots, very comfortable.

same here but I need a new set and the only way for me to get redwing pull ons is to order them and I never order boots with out trying them on first. Damn red wing stores never carry pull ons since they are not in demand in my area. I bought red heads last and they are nice pull ons but not as comfortable as redwings. Those frye boots look nice and for the price of some of em they better be real comfortable. unfortunately there aren't any dealers around here so I won't be trying any on.
