Default Wig Wag installation

I called the Ontario dealer and he asked if I had a four light system. I have two brake lights on the travel pack and one below. Will the Wig Wag work with this set up?

Thanks guys,

Hope this info below helps out.

I have got one and will install soon.

Just trying to figure out if I can access the wires in the trunk only OR do you need to access that main line under the trunk to the central brake light???

Anybody know for sure on an 05 Ultra???

This particular WIG-WAG module was designed with the Honda Goldwing and Harleys with the tour pack in mind. Yes it will work on your bike.

If you want all 3 brake lights to flash, you will want to use the BLSM-XP. The Wig-Wag will not do the job of flashing the 3rd light.

Yes, the recommended installation is up in the tour pack.

Running the exact same on mine. Works great! Love it. Took mine a coulpe of hours to put on becase my wiring was under the metal plate in the tour trunk. All needed to be unbolted. When I spliced mine. I soldered and heatshrank all connections.

Highly Recommend

Just hope that it helps for blind cagers!

Thanks guys -
I take it that you just have the flashers on the tour pack.
The message from Signal Dynamics says to get the "Back Off (BLSM-XP) module" to flash all three.

I wondere if replacing all light with those new LED's would add even more effect?

I want to be as noticable as possible since I take my kids quite a bit.

Thanks

Default RE: Wig Wag installation

Just finished my wig wag install - less than one hour - all inside the tour pak - tit procedure. Looks awesome and eye catching - much faster flashing than on the demo.

I too take the kids and wife along plenty of times and pray to GOD I'm never rear ended.

And I'm also going to buy a Kuryakyn 4972 ($99.99) Deluxe L.E.D. Taillight Conversion for the center light. Plug and play.

Now there will be two types of brake lights on my scooter - what more can I do???? Suggestions???

A fellow coworker of mine was riding into work (in his truck) at 7:30am on a local two lane semi busy town road - line of cars had stopped for school kids crossing.
BAMM!!! Idiot behind hit him at 27mpg - just not paying attention - but he also was uninsured!!! Dork ***. And I drove right by that accident 30 seconds after it happenned on my two wheeler. Guess it was my lucky day.

Another girl friend of ours got rammed at 50 mph at a stop light in her Camry - that idiot was on the cell phone - unattentive again!!!

Both vehicles were totaled but people had only minor injuries - had they been on a cycle both would be dead for sure.

THERE NEEDS TO BE A FEDERAL LAW ON CELL PHONE USE WHILE DRIVING!!! JUST TAKE A SURVEY OF PASSING MOTORISTS IN A BUSY AREA - ONE QUARTER TO HALF ARE HOLDING THEIR HANDS UP TO THEIR EARS - IT IS UFB - LAWMAKERS NEED TO DO SOMETHING NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for listening.

Default LED tour pack lights with wig wag?

I hooked up the wig-wags "back-off" with the stock lights on my 2011 Trike. Now, I decided to add the LED lights from Harley. I talked to Mike at Signal Dynamics, The center LED works with on/brakes, not connected through the wig-wag module. My question with the LED harness inside the tour pack, a module that has 2 connectors, 1 fuse link. To supply power to the wig-wag...as with the stock lights...power into wig-wag and the two out wires (red/white)(white/red) direct to tail lights. NOW! do I cut/splice the fuse link into the wig-wad Red feed wire? You can't just wire into the hot because if it doesn't go only into the wig-wag, they won't flash a pattern. Is that where I cut and splice? Before the fuse link or after it?

Thanks,
Steve
