On my previous bike,06 Roadking I had V&H basic slip ons, HD Sreaming eagle AC, and PCIII. Ordered the PCIII from Jamie at Fuel Moto. Jamie loaded map. Ran OK but when I did the 0%-100% changed it enough got just a little decel pop. With one phone call to Jamie he advised me on tweaking it just a little, and after that the bike ran awesome for the 2 yrs I owned it, never had a dyno done. I mentiond this to the service mgr at local HD serv dept who is also pretty good in his own right, and he said I just got lucky. How many others out there "just got lucky". I prefer to give the credit to Jamie at Fuel Moto and his experience. Just got a new 09 Ultra, think I will just try to "get lucky" again.
Guess I just "got lucky" too. I used the pre-mapped PCIII from Jamie too, and my bike runs flawlessly. I'm pretty sure when I move up to the '09 Ultra I'm going to use him again.
Couple years ago I bought a 2006 Dyna Super Glide. Bought some V&H Straight Shot Slip-ons, a K&N AC, and a V&H Fuel Pack. Put it all together and it ran great. Told it to my HD parts guy and he said it couldn't be that simple. He said he'd put it on the Dyno when it came in for the 1000 service. When they did, they said they couldn't do it any better. That sold me on the aftermarket EFI controllers.
I got my PCIII from Fuelmoto for my 07 Nightrain. Afterwards I had the bike dynoed at the dealership and they told me "it was a hair rich, but its better to be a hair rich then too lean, pretty much right on" and advised I leave it alone because I would be wasting my money having them "fine tune" it. So I say Fuelmotos maps are as good as its gonna get without spending $$$$ having it tuned on the dyno.

I run almost an identical set up, but I have a V&H Fuelpak. Almost bought the PCIII from Fuelmoto because of the comments around here about Jamie.
Me thinks A LOT of people around these parts just got lucky.
