The first time you do any mechanical task it should take you longer normally.
The first time I tore down an IBM T-20 laptop it took me two hours to replace the system board.
Now that I have done it a few hundred times I can do it in 25 minutes and have a bootable system with no screws left over. Assuming there are no snags along the way.
