Get a 6" heavy duty bungee cord and hook one end to the touring bracket and the other end to her thong. Should hold 'er in.

My wife falls asleep on long hauls. I usually don't notice it til we come up on a stop sign or a light. That's when I get her head in my back. Never lost her yet...hmmmm

I gave a friend a ride back to my house after a charity crab feast one time and about 15 miles from home I felt the helmet hit me between my shoulder blades. Sound asleep. Worse 15 miles I've ever rode, worrying about her falling sidways.

As long as you don't fall asleep she will most likely be fine. Zzzzzzs!

I've had it happen with my wife. I know when the bike starts sharply weaving to one side or another. Seriously, it HAS! She's doing better now that I told her the next time she nods off, she has to walk home. LoL

My wife doesn't ride with me a lot but does fall asleep on the back - even on twisty roads. She decided the only way she was going to fix that was to start riding herself.

My wife fell asleep on the way to Michigan a couple weeks ago, she slumped forward and started pushing my head forward. I told her to let me know if she is gonna fall asleep as I will stop and take out a large insurance policy on her while we are on the road. She didn't fall asleep again!

My wife does it on long trips all of the time. My neighbor used to talk about his wife falling asleep and I thought he was crazy. After a couple of long trips I found this isn't unusual.

Could be worse, a buddy of mine from work, his woman had a damn epileptic seizure on the highway!! Sorry to say they went down because he was trying to keep her on the bike while she was squirming out of control. Couldn't keep the Ultra on the road.
Several bruises and some BAD road rash but they survived. Um he's a dedicated helmet wearer now.

My wife is always falling asleep and it doesn't matter how long/short the ride is. If you have a trunk-ultra/ ec etc. the chances are not much she can fall off. Think about it she has her legs on both sides of the bike there are saddle bags keeping her in certain positions then there's the tourpak with arm rests to help again to keep her in certain positions. She would have to try and jump off and that wouldn't be easy.
Most of the time now she just reads, takes photos, and/or listens to music.
