Be very, very careful with the parts and accessories book. It's addictive and very expensive. I suggest you don't look at it. Don't look at the on line catalog either. You wouldn't think it was possible to spend thousands more on your bike, but it is. Actually customizing your bike is half the fun of owning a Harley. Enjoy your new RK.

Ezy-Brake brake arm......much safer than stock
Slip-ons of your choice......gotta have some sound
Air Horn........another safety issue that could make the difference when you need it
Riders backrest.......best accessory I have installed. WoW!
LED lens.......make sure they see you
Windshield.......those chilly nights are upon us OR as defense against all flying critters
Synthetic oil.......safeguard your investment

Second Job.......cause all this stuff will cost you

For safety and appearance replace the orange rear lenses with the "kit" that contain red lenses and turns the rear running/signal lights into running/brake/signal lights. Info is below"

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

It was the one of the best improvements I made to my old 02 RK. Removing the orange lenses allows the rear to flow much better with just the red and whatever color the bike is. It looks good on any Road King especially a black one.

If you want to take this important upgrade up 1 notch, add the chrome rings around the lenses.

As you can see it was one of the 1st things I did with the new SG.

Don't use Castrol SuperClean (Purple Bottle) on anything on your bike. It will turn aluminum black in 10 seconds and will remove the paint from the engine in like 2 minutes.

Don't ask me how I know.

Lights #1, back rest #2, if she isn't comfortable or feeling safe she won't want to ride with you. Next will probably be seat and bars for your comfort.
I guess I don't understand the "don't post" comment either, unless it's because It will just give you more ideas on how to spend more $$. In that case I guess I better stop visiting also. Enjoy your RK, I know I love mine

Thanks ice. You're a smart guy to have figured out if your wife is happy the odds increase greatly that you'll be happy. LOL
