I went with the straight SE Stage II 103" kit, no head work. Jugs, pistons, 255 cams.

No regrets what-so-ever. I only had to pay for the parts I listed above since I was having some other warranty work done that covered the cost of labor and the non-reusables (gaskets and such). My total out of pocket for the upgrade was just over $700, so I'm pretty damned happy with the $$ to power ratio on the deal.

The seat-O-meter is very pleased.

Some will recommend other brands (HQ's rate pretty highly here), but for what I was getting (and how)...the SE was the best option for me.

I went to a 103 flat top pistons, SERT, 255 cams and v/h big radius pipes you can look at my post( wow shes hot is the name) and see my numbers in my sig it has a walk around. If you do head work you can easly see over 100 on each side. you might get a little bit better if you run a little hotter cam then a 255. Ive seen motors here in jax fl with 90+ hp and around the same torque i got with hotter cams the curve just comes on much later then mine. NOW with all that being said if you live near me please contact me and we can go into depth about any motor work you want done to your motor. For instance I have a Dyna sitting in my garage as we speak with 107 hp and 115 torque out of a 103 cubic inchs. however he has about 2500 in his motor. Hope this helps

FYI HD has a 103" Stage IV available in their 09 SE catalog.

Im going to do a 110" this winter. Im going to get a local motorcycle machine shop to do the engine itself. Im gonna get the heads and everything done. The dealer suggested I get it done at the machine shop to save money.
