Got the CFR and stage 1.... If you like the sound of a 350 Chevy big block with Hollywood mufflers you'll love the low roar of CFR pipes!! And they're really not that loud unless you revvvvv them up.... Then you get noticed.... Big Time!!!! Ride safely.
How are they cruising at 65? Do you have to crank the radio to hear it?
Harry
My CFR's quiet down to a perfect rumble on the hwy!!! They don't crack at all, so they are not overpowering on the hwy under a load. In fact, I gotta say mine are the quietest of all the bikes I ride with on the hwy. But wick the throttle and I get noticed! LOL!
The wind on the hwy is much more of a problem than my CFRs when it comes to hearing the radio!!!
Evening All, new to the group, been lurking about and finally joined. My new bike should be here in a few weeks - 2009 HD Screaming Eagle Road Glide in Silver Frost / Titanium.
Has anyone put a set of CFRs on the 2009 yet??? Better yet a 110 Cu In Twin? Thanks, Zarley

I got them on my '09. SE 103" w/ SE heads. Bad thing, I can't comment too much on them. I love the looks and the BADASS deep rumble...but that's it. I only put about 20 miles on my bike before I tore it apart in my garage waiting on other parts and I'm still waiting. I can't wait for my V&H Power Duals to show up. I also talked to Cary (CFR) the other day...he is developing headers for the 09s but it's still in the works. I might end up going with those headers instead, who knows?
I have been looking everywhere to find a pair of CFR slip-ons. Anyone have a lead of where I can get a pair. I heard runor that Faas quit making the touring model.
