i can fix a bike easy
fixin peeps is tuff
anyway, just grab it, and stand it up
While I had one or two strong buddies around I would give them a couple of beers and have them and have them help you lay the bike gently over on the crash bars on a pad or blanket and practice getting it up by yourself. It's not a question of if, but when, it will go over on you (jiffy stand not down; parked wrong on a hill) and you may be by yourself.
Unless you are in a remote location, it seems like anybody in sight will help you pick it up. The other story I have heard is that dropping it gets your adrenaline going so much that you could practically throw the thing across the road.

I went to the thread provided by the link Kess posted. It seems straightforward enough, but I can't help but envision simply pushing the dropped bike along the ground. I don't know what will give the tires their ability to "bite" the ground and allow me to pivot the machine up. Just the rubber's inherent traction?
Anyway, it probably will work, but it sure looks like it would be mighty tough.

Brand new 06 RK, pulling into the confined space in front of my garage/front door. Swing in, stop, back up, turn, pull forward and put down the stand. Simple. Somewhere between Swing in and stop, I managed to very gently ease my bike to the ground. No damage, but it is absolutely true that if you touch the front brake at slow speed in a turn, you will go down. I didn't even realize I did it. I read the link posted earlier, and that's exactly how I did it.
Hope you never have to use it, but you better learn it. You NEVER know when you'll need it. It worked like a charm for me.
