Just leave it. Walk away. Buy a new one.

Whether you pick it up like Calliblue stated--the scizzor-kneel-lift with your hands on the bars, or the kneel and put-your-butt on the seat and slowly stand-push the bike up, it's so easy a little girl can do it. If you want to see it done and get the best DVD available that demonstrates motorcycle-police advanced riding pratices that they go through every month, get over to www.ridelikeapro.com and order "Ride Like a Pro III." It's the work of Jerry "Motorman" Palladino, a retired motorcycle policeman, and company. Every rider in the country should have a copy of this DVD and put the course to work every month, just like motorcycle police do. Try it out and you'll be thanking me for the tip later. But, lifting a RK or dresser...can't be easier when you do it right. By the way, before I learned how to do it right, there was an incident where my Dad and I were out riding and my Dad lost balance at a stop and fell over to his left; I parked my bike and rushed over to him with his Ultra Classic and picked them both up in the way that was anything but right. And, as a result, I completely busted loose my tendon from my elbow in my right arm and had to have surgery to have it fixed...though I rode a long ride home with my tendon slipped up almost to my shoulder...lesson learned ya'll. But, while I was healing, I came across Jerry Palladino, who lives about a half-hour from me in Hudson, Florida; and that chance encounter revolutionized my riding forever. Give the DVD a try folks...I guarantee you'll be glad you did.

Best regards,
