Hi, the best selling motorcycle magazine in Europe -"DAS MOTORRAD"- recently published the results of an 50 000 kilometers/30 000 miles testride of a 07 ROAD KING.
The magazine says:
- outstanding reliability
- all bike components in excellent shape after disassembling
- very low costs per kilometer/mile
In the last years, they did a lot of long-distance testrides on many different motorcycles, but the ROAD KING has been the best performing bike ever!
Nothing else to say....

Thanks for the info gravnov!! Nice to get the results from a 30,000 mile test ride. Should be very accurate info after that many miles. I am sure there will be plenty of "whine and cheese" from this side of the pond posting about wobble, heat bla,bla,etc,etc...to counter a good review. Thanks again.
I like my 07 FLHRC better than any other bike I have had but the seat isn't the most comfortable. I ride highway 90% of the time so any other issues just don't affect me. It isn't that expensive to change out a seat so WTH.
ive also have a 07 rkc . it seems that you here alot of the bad most of the time but iam sure that there are many 07 's that are performing well . ive done polls on other forums and most people seem happy with there bikes some of these guys have 40,000 + on there bikes with no issues . i think the iternet is a place to vent ,then the whole thing snowballs , our bikes are machines there gonna brake 05, 02 , 00 ,07 i dont think it matters ,the 05's have valve seal issues . the 00's have cam bearing issues . i have freinds with these yr bikes they run fine and some are at 50k right now so whos to say why one bike runs 20k and pukes and another goes 100k with no issues .. my 07 rkc was used when i got it 2500 mile s on it .i start reading on the net how the 07's are twisting cranks etc, etc, ya it concerns me but it now has 6500 miles on it and runs smooth and strong with great oil pressure . i dont abuse it so dont think ive got much to worry about

70,000 on my King, and she's still purring like a kitten. Good test, good results, good bike. And to Ken Thompson....What's up with the negativity toward the MOCO and the King. Why couldn't this just be an honest report, provided objectively. Try subscribing to MCN (Motorcycle Consumer News) like I do. Very objective on every MFG and a wide range of Products. Why? NO ADVERTISING AT ALL!!!! Paid for through subscriptions. Best magazine on the market. Although it doesn't focus on HD's, it's got a lot of good info....
