Hi, the best selling motorcycle magazine in Europe -"DAS MOTORRAD"- recently published the results of an 50 000 kilometers/30 000 miles testride of a 07 ROAD KING.
The magazine says:
- outstanding reliability
- all bike components in excellent shape after disassembling
- very low costs per kilometer/mile
In the last years, they did a lot of long-distance testrides on many different motorcycles, but the ROAD KING has been the best performing bike ever!
Nothing else to say....
Yep. The only part that has crapped out is the '08 part I added (IDS bearing failed) but my dealer replaced it free (good dealer - Space Coast HD in Palm Bay FL).
My '06 RKC with 26K miles gave me no problems, but gave me thousands of reasons to sport smiley grin from ear to ear. I now own '09 Ultra and hope it does the same as RKC's performance.
