Help - No sound ????????
I have an 08 Street Glide and listen to the radio all the time.
Saturday I rode to a local rally and turned my radio off when I was in towm traffic.
Radio worked fine.
When I left and was outside of town, I turned the radio back on and now I have "no sound".
I have everything else.
Displays show radio staion and name
Cd display shows it's working
X-M display shows it's working
the sound just quit coming out of the speakers (not even any static)
I'm going to the dealer Tuesday, but does anybody have any idea.
and I don't need the "HK radios are a piece of crap" replies.
If I knew of somebody local who knew what they were doing I'd change it out.
He$$ I'll even go to Houston if I knew somebody that was good.
Again, any ideas why all of a suden the speakers quit?
It's like the PTT button is pushed but Street Glides don't have that option.

First off, it's an '08..should be under warranty.
Second, if you'd rather have an aftermarket radio...it's a pretty damn easy install.
Biketronics makes a "Retro-Radio" kit that's pretty fool proof.
