I'm thinking of getting some heated clothing and am worried about taxing the charging system. What is the wattage output of the alternator on my '08 FLHX? I did add the HD aux lamps next to the headlight.
you should have more than enough power to run your heated coat and gloves plus pants and socks if you want. i have hd heated coat, gloves and am running the hd fog lamps with out any problems on my 03 rg
I've got the heated Gerbing glove/jacket/pants and socks and run them on high along with the drivign lamps and radio/CD etc. No problem with my 07 EGC.
