The Road Glide. My second choice would be the Ultra - if you're gonna be a bear, be a Grizzly. There is $1000 difference in MSRP. You can't make the changes for twice that, and whenyou sell it you'll sell it for more money and quicker.

My next bike will be an Ultra, but only because I've owned a Classic before and the Ultra will be my last bike. If all the Ultra extras are worth the extra $2k to you, then go for it if you can afford it. Otherwise, $2k buys alot of stuff: SERT, SE airbox, mufflers, etc.

When confronted with this question on the '08 model year, I decided to go with the Ultra. For the additional dollars you get so much more for your money. I don't need to invest in cosmetic or comfort upgrades; any Harley bucks can go to performance upgrades. I love my Ultra!

Sorry, the difference IS $2,000. I'd still go Ultra over Classic.

Agreed. you cant add the parts after the fact for 2000. Might as well go for it upfront.

Ultra!!!! the classic tour pak really looks like a block without the lights. The extras are worth the money.
