I would have to agree!!

I'd say the Ultra. I like the extras that the Ultra offers. The lowers are a HUGE help in cold weather. I really like the lights on the tour pack also.

I researched and anxiously debated the choice myself when I was in the market for a bagger. I spent the extra money and got the Ultra and I'm totally satisfied with the purchase.

As mentioned, the lowers are awesome. Plus, I like the look of the rear seating arrangement better on the Ultra... Something about the way the bike looks without the speakers just didn't turn my crank.

i now it doesn't make sense to all but it did to me. i traded my 2007 road king classic for a 2005 EGC. i absolutely LOVE this ride. the one thing i miss is the cruise. it has a thumb screw but i don't like that. i am looking to get speakers for the rear on the classic. i found different prices i can get a total speaker upgrade for $599. cruise is $399 on the HD website. if i trully had the money yes i wold go for the ultra, but the classic works just fine for me.

If it's between an Ultra and Classic... I'm going ULTRA... Prolly be my last bike. But that Street Glide is ONE COOL MACHINE... But so is the Fat Bob. And the Springer... Geez, why I do this to myself. ULTRA ULTRA ULTRA.... OK, now I'm back on track...

Thumbs up Ultra

If you are going to spend the money buy the Ultra,it's not that much more.Thats what i did and so glad i did. It's cheaper than upgrading one part at a time. Have ours three weeks now, done 1800 miles so far we love it.

I said I would never own a bagger. When I changed my 50+ year old mind, I didn't half step, I went whole hog with the Ultra!!! Ref. the CB......if you ride with a group of Ultras, wings, etc, they can be a lot of fun (especially if the girls get in on the comments/wisecracks) and they can save you some unnecessary stops as well. Not to mention the guy in back can warn the ones in front when some smart azz kid on a crotch rocket is about to pass you at a 150 MPH........which can cause old men to shat their pants!!!!
