Sorry if this has been discussed before. Did a search but did not come up with my exact question.
What is your opinion regarding a softer rubber grip vs. a harder metal one like the knurled ones H-D sells ?
What comfort issues are there with the harder ones? Is it even an issue?
It's time to replace the renthal rubber portion of my grips and looks like I have to take them all the off to swap them out so since they are coming off anyway I figured now was the time to ask for some opinions.
I like the Drag Spec foam grips. Have tried the HD nostalgic and HD chrome and rubber insert grips but I'm 64 and like the foam the best. HD ones tend to wear out so went with these which are suppose to be denser foam and replacable and cheaper,

If you think even for one second that you will find something out there that feels/works better than the PM Renthal Rubber grips you are VERY mistaken. You already have the very best out there IMHO......just replace them when needed and ride on!
