Default Hand grips

I would like to change my stock hand grips. I like the looks of HD 56263-08 and matches my floorboards, shifter & brake. I'm reading that Kury is the better grip but would like to keep everything HD. Is there a big difference? Is it worth installing an aftermarket Kury grip?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the HD grips and if they have the look that you prefer, go for it. (Remember that there are two sizes in this grip). Many people like the ISO grip from Kuryakyn, but other than the cushion material, I don't feel that they are of better quality than the HD. Just my .02

I'm with Nemick on this - the HD grips are of great quality and easy to install (about 15 minutes for the TBW touring models). The Kury Iso grips are apparently the "grips of choice" for a number of folks on the forum, and they are considered very high quality and very comfortable.

New grips are a very visible upgrade and are easy to install.

I just installed the chrome and rubber grips that you are looking at. I am finding that they are too big and make my hands cramp, even worse with gloves. The smaller size 56246-08 might have been a better choice for me. I have tried the ISO grips and will more than likely change to them, they feel alot better.

I like and prefer the larger size if the chrome and rubber grips. This is definitely something to consider when choosing. It will matter.
