Default Transmition Cover

Do I have to drain the trany oil to replace the Transmission cover. I assume yes but sombody told me only a little will be lost.

Here's what you do.....pull the scoot's tires up onto pieces of 2x4 or 2x6 and then lean it way over onto the jiffy stand. It will feel like it will fall over, but trust me it won't. I have tugged and worked on the bike while it was leaning over like that. Give it a few minutes and all the tranny oil will drain to the left of the bike. You can then pull the side cover and not lose but a drop. It would be wise to pull the exhaust off prior to putting it up onto the 2x lumber though.
