Buell does not offer a sport tourer. Closest thing they have is the XB12XT Ulysses.
It's strange that the Motor Company has three entities (HD, Buell, MV Agusta), yet none offer a sport tourer. I say bring back the FXDX. Or build a sport tourer around the V-Rod mill.
compared to my eg classic, my new rg almost seems like hd's sport tourer. it takes curves like no hd i've personally ever had and new gearing makes pulling out of corners a blast. jmo...ride safe
Nobody who buys a Harley for what it truly is could be after a sport tourer. That's kinda like asking for a Yamaha with a soul. So many people buy a hog, then modify it to become a different model. Figure out what you want before you buy but don't try to force that square peg into the round hole. Harley would make a sport tourer if that was who they were trying to be. It's like mounting hard bags on a dyna or guys riding an RK without the bags on it. Just silly.

A sport touring bike is what I have tried to build.
it was modeled after a Road King Custom.
Now the new switchback is also close to a sport
touring bike but it needs a fat boy front end on it.
I think the FXRT was probably the closest they came to a sport tourer.
I didn't really dig them at the time, but I sure do now. I'd love to see them do something similar now.
On long interstate runs I like to change up my seating position from time to time. One way I will put my feet on the passenger floorboards. Makes you sit slightly forward (feels great on the back), a little taller in the saddle, and gives another riding position. AKA like a sport touring.
