The only difference between the HD version of the Zumo 550 is the HD adds some silkscreening, removes some accessories, changes the mount, adds HD dealer waypoints, and raises the price. You can get the dealer waypoints for free from http://www.poi-factory.com/node/1995.
When you buy online, make sure you check http://www.resellerratings.com/ first. If the price seems to be too good to be true, it probably is.
I tried doing a search on GPS's but either no one is talking about GPS's
or the "new" board doesn't like me, probably both.
Anyway I am looking at getting a new GPS for my ride. I see HD
sells the Zumo 550 at inflated prices, anyone have one of these
or the generic Garmin version?
Any other good choices out there?
There are numerous threads on GPS options, one recent one called "Garmin Zumo or Tom Tom."
