I know I should search the forum, but I don't feel like weeding today. Is there a trick or special tool you can attach to a standard air compressor...the type we find out on the road like gas stations? I can't get a pressure gauge on it because of the spokes and rotors, and I play hell trying to get an air chuck on the stem. I spent all my quarters trying. These wheels and rotors are OEM on an Ultra.
I just use a gauge with a rubber hose and 90* chuck head similar to the HD model. It holds pressure reading. You can get a 90* valve stem to use at gas stations. I keep 1 in my tool bag for just that.
I have a gauge that has a hose coming out of each side. One attaches to the tire valve and the other to the air source. You can read the gauge while filling without having to disconnect either side. I had looked around for sometime and finally found it at Advanced Auto.
I was just going to post a similar question but decided I'd try to quick search and found this.
I have a compressor at home but it took me about 30 min to check tire pressures the other night with these spoke wheels. I was literally cussing the whole time. The back is works than the front. It would be much easier if the valve stems were at an angle.
