Question King Tour Pak mount help

I have a King Tour pak and a detachable rack that I want to mount on my bike. Does anyone have a picture of the bottom of a tour pak with the detachable raqck mounted? Or a copy of the instruction kit that came with a King tour pak? None of the holes line up with the rack but before I started drilling holes, I wanted to be sure I wasn't missing anything. Thanks for the help.

This is the pak and detachable rack I have. It is the older style mounting rack.

Dennis,
On my '06 everything lined up.
Don't drill. Something is either missing or a wrong
part mixed in the kit. The instructions are not
clear anyway.

A picture or copy of the instruction sheet would be helpful. Thanks

This is the underside of my '06 installation. The predrilled hole patterns matched up with the tourpak bolt holes. Please note that I modified my rack by drilling 4 newer holes which enabled me to shift the TP back about 1" for more passenger room.

Thanks. This is helpful. DId all the parts in the diagram come with your detachable rack?

I think something is missing. I have the rack and the tourpak but not the U shaped tube piece in your pics.

Think twice before you start drilling. Mine lined up perfect once I had the right parts in the right places. You can go back to your friendly parts guy (you know the one that you have the great relationship with for times like this) and he can pull it up on his computer, and just reprint the directions for you....

no but i did cut a piece of sheet alum(3/16) to 12"x13" and put it between the mount and the TP....i did this cause the U bar acts as a support for the back of the TP...it made the rig very solid and allowed me to put it as far back as i wanted
