[QUOTE=Thirdup;4068961]Out of curiosity, what's involved in the installation of the HD opener (transmitter) to the bike? Is it plug/play or do you have to disassemble/solder anything? I tried to google the instructions, but no luck.
4 wire total The follow instructions are for a Ultra but the sources are the same you just pick them up in other palce on not touting bikes.
1 to + 12 volts (unused wire in headlight harness)
1 to ground (unused wire in headlight harness)
1 to high beam wire
1 to low beam wire
All the connectors and good instructions come with the transmitter.
Ok, I know there have been a lot of post on this one however I have a question, already made the investment and installed on my bike. However I have recently upgrade to a hid headlight and with the Balist and starter inline it no longer works off of the bright switch.
Wondering if anyone has any experiance with this and has come up with an alertative hook up for the HD devices to get around this issue?
Give these guys a call. Ask them. They are great to work with. But you may want to tell them you have one of their units. Theirs work the same as a HD
