I too purchased a bike upon returning from a deployment. I bought an '08 Low Rider. I purchased it instead of the Street Glide, because of the price difference. I really wanted the SG but thought I would be happy with the LR. I took delivery of the LR on 1 Feb 08 and immediately had buyers remorse. It simply was not the bike I wanted. I should have traded it right away. Instead, I held on to it for about three months trying to like it. I finally gave in to my wants, took the hit and drove away with a brand new Street Glide. I should have bought it in the first place. I would have saved a ton of money. I now have no buyers remorse. I immediately took a liking to the new bike and promptly drove it 600 miles, at one shot, as part of the break-in period! Man I love this thing! Comfort, entertainment and a place to put my stuff. I couldn't be happier! Go buy what you want and be happy.

I couldn't agree more!! I just picked up a 09 Street Glide and it is awesome. Too bad the weather here in Nebraska is starting to go to crap. I traded in my 07 Sporty for this , I didn't mind the Sporty for around town but I needed to upgrade for the longer hauls as you can imagine.
