Default Front end wobble

so i just took my 08 RKC in for the 1k, got it back and was taking a 100 mile plus ride on the highway on saturday, Iand i noticed the front end had a strange wobble around speeds 70plus. Initially i thought maybe during the service something was tightened as much as it should been. But i recall never hitting the highway for more than a few miles at a time and not going much faster than 65 before the 1k so its possible to not have noticed this wobble feeling. I look and everything seems tight and nothing strange, Is this common, i remember glancing at a thread talkin about this similar problem once before???

Check the neck bearings. It happened to a friend of mine and he had to have them tightened.

Check neck bearing tension, tire pressure, & alignment. Then add a stabilizer! With apes that tall you are going to amplify any steering input from wind buffeting or movements you make. That would normally be enough to justify keeping all the other variables within limits, but with the flexibility in the Harley rubber mount system it becomes critical.

Same thing happened to me. It was my neck bearings. Tightened them and the bike was fine.

I have the exact opposite -- between 20 and 50 if I take my hands off the handle bars they shake to the point of being uncontrollable -- I have taken it to two different dealers both tightened the neck bearings but the problem persists.

If above 2200rpm and I take my hands off the bars, it will track true and I can steer it with body weight. After the rpm's get below 2200 rpm's the front end will start to shake and will grow in amplitude. However both my 04 xl1200R and my wifes 04 xl883c (rubber mounted sportsters) will stay true regardless.

I think the touring bikes do so in part do to the missing rear engine stabilizer.
Has anyone noticed this shake after adding one of the rear stabilizers?
