I'm getting 38 mpg, 3/4 of which is local, 1/4 highway. Totally stock, '09 Ultra.

No it's not funny but I have too... My 1998 FLTRI EVO will constantly get 48 and 49 mpg in town and at 80 exactly the same. I'm not so happy about people with TC's reporting bad mileage. My 1977 FXE (with a Jap carb) would get 67 mpg on the highway.

And "Buster" normally gets 44 mpg around town. Hummm, What the Hell is Buster? A 1990 Ford Festiva w/167,000 miles. 1300 lbs and 1300 cc's (with Cold A/C and heat). Chick Magnet!

tima, that's a beautiful bike.

How old is your bike and how many miles on it? I was only getting in the low 30's until my 1000 mile tune up. Now I am in the low 40's. I think they may run them rich during break in. JMO.
