Default 45 mpg

I consistently get around 45 mpg on my 2008 RG over the last 18K. Most of the miles are in the mountains of NC at speeds of 50-70 with few stop lights. I have a stage 1 with Fatcat 2 to 1 and a SERT.

My 08 FXDL got 50 mpg on the highway after the 1000 mile service no matter how I rode it. I noticed that it also seemed to run a lot better after the 1000 mile service but I did my stage 1 about the same time so I chalked it up to me imagining things between the 1000 mile and the stage 1.

My 09 FLHX was getting around 40 mpg during break in and it felt like it had no power at all. Imeadiately after the 1000 mile service it had a lot more power. I didn't ask, but they have to be remapping something on them. I figure that is one of the reasons the first service is required to be done by the stealer. Unfortunately my mileage seems to have gotten worse. As soon as there are exhaust options I like I will do the stage 1 and see if the mileage improves.

I average 43 on both of my bikes. Most guys I ride with average in the low 40's too. Seems like you might be running alittle on the rich side. Might want to put it on a dyno and take a look some time.

It's the same one that has a dyno reading of 95hp and 94 Ftlbs on a stock TC88
