Do you have a fuel pak or aftermarket system on it. If you did your own 1k service, maybe they truly did re map mine after the break in. You may have that checked out.

I have a 08 Ultra. I had Rush mufflers installed when I bought the bike. They put on 2.5" baffles. WAY to loud for me. I bought 2.0" and they were still too loud. My gas mileage was around 37. I bought the Fuel Moto's asymetrical baffle setup and I am finally happy. Nice sound with much better performance. Setup acts like a 2 into 1 exhaust but looks normal. I have a SE A/C and the Harley download. Good power and I get a consistent 43 mpg on the hwy. My plugs are a light tan. I also tried the XIED's and the O2IED's from nightrider but all they did was kill my gas mileage with no noticeable heat difference.

I ride my RKC really hard and had never checked the mileage until last weekend. I rode a little under 400 miles on country roads, small towns and a little on the interstate, when it was all over I got 40.6 mpg.

I average 43 to 45 on my 05 eg stage one, dealer download,70 to 80 mph.On my 07 Sport in town,not really warmed up maybe 33 ,on the hiway warmed good about 45 mpg and that's 70 to 80 mph.07 is stock.

With my other bikes I wanted performance, and knew the mpg's would suffer. But on my current bike, all I want is to enjoy the ride. I have a 07 FLHX with slipons only, I don't even check mpg's anymore....I always get 47-50 mpg's will riding...highway speeds using 6th as much as possible....My riding buddy gets the same ( 07 EG ) as well!

I have a 08, stage one, download and fuelpak. Iwas normally getting upper thirtys. Spoke with the fuelpak guys and they made a change. Now get around 45. But you have to keep the revs below 2700 and the speed below 75.
