Yours is one of the coolest SGs I've ever seen. The lowers really set it off.

I think they'll look good with the contrast. If not I'll buy them. You got a deal there.

Buy them, put them on your bike, see that they look like crap and then PM me and give me an even better deal since you are all bent out of shape then you will feel better for helping a brother out and I will be forever greatful.

Default Just do it!

Buy the darn things and put em' on! If YOU don't like it sell them for $100 more. What have you got to lose? I personally like the lowers on an SG and if you add speakers in them it really sets it off!

If the lowers are for function vs. style and you need them to keep warm in the colder months than yeah go for it.

But since you asked my opinion here it is: The SG is a bare bones bike. Minimalistic. No fancy doodads you'd find on another model. Keep it simple.

Just my humble opinion and only offered since you asked.

Other opinions and mileage will most certainly vary.

A SG is minimalistic??? With saddlebags, a fairing, windshield, guages, and a stereo?? It's not missing much from being an Electra Glide Classic!

Everyone customizes their bike the way they see fit. I see nothing wrong with adding a TourPak, lowers, etc.

Just my opinion!

If you aren't going to paint to match then I say no. It will stick out like a sore thumb !!!

I think it would look bitchin', especially with a blacked out front end.

And I'm sure I am gonna get death threats for asking this, but aren't flame jobs and two toned bikes, as well as most other custom paint jobs, exercises in mixing and matching colors?
