Many customers of mine have had good results using it in their cages to remedy an emissions failure. In a Harley? Why? You have excessive carbon build up?
Use the stuff all the time. Makes for a great fuel stabilizer and does as advertised. I don't use it in every tankful but put it in my bike 2-3 times per year and when it goes to storage. Try it you'll like it.
I use about 3 oz in 3rd or 4th tank. It helps keep the exhaust valves cleaned up. On my Roadstar you had to use it or get SVS. These fuel injected models do not suffer from carbon build up as bad as the old carb models. Then it was real important, since most of us tend to lug the engine a little bit.
Never used it and have some old, high mile vehicles around here that are running just fine. If I want to decarbon a top end, water misted in the intake on a fast idle will do more a few ounces of miracle juice diluted in a tankful of gas ever could.
I'd use Stabil. It is intended to be a fuel stabilizer, not a ten in one product like Seafoam claims to be. If your tank is full at the beginning of storage, you won't get any moisture.
I gave an old (~1980s) Yamaha 650 to my #2 son, he put a can thru the tank and saw the mpg go from hi 30s to mid 40s.
On an 2000 Ford Escort 2.0L I recently bought for my daughter I sucked 1/3 of a can into the intake via the brake booster hose, let it sit 15 min and then fired it back up. Moderate cloud of smoke (some report a cloud that puts them in terror of the EPA), and it idled much smoother after.

I have used it when the bike sits for a while and it is very cold. Did not experience any problems. Used it in a boat I owned before and worked great there as well.
