With the installation of Khromewerks Sweepers I have gone to perch mount mirrors. I bought plugs for the holes in the fairing at Lowes. Problem is 1/2" and 1/4" plugs are to big and 3/8" and 3/16" are to small. I know some of you here have plugged the holes. What is a good way to get the to small plugs to work? They are just barely to small and look fine, just loose. I thought about a dab of silicon, but that could get kinda messy. Any ideas?
Lots of guys have put car stereo type tweeters these holes with good success. If you goto www.hogtunes.com and go into the "tech zone" I have 2 articles there I wrote on why adding tweeters work with the HK radio, and how to do it.
We dont sell tweeters at this time, but I am happy to steer you into a good direction--I will check posts here, or drop me an email
I went to Lowes also.
I used the smaller size and ended up using Super Glue to hold them in.
I dabbed it around it on the inside so as not to leave residue on the outside.
