I too just got some heated HD Gear. I was lookin at Gerbling but the stuff was so expensive as if HD isn't LOL! Gerblings is never on sale the price is the same no matter where you go unless its summer or disc items. So the HD dealer had a "Tent" sale I bought the old style jacket list $249 for $99 I had to get a bigger size but that price Ill make it work, and it does!! The Gloves HD new $150 I bought the old style gloves $99 at a Holloween sale, lucked out they work great I ll have to get the thermostat and an adapter for yhe old style plugs on the clothes but even wired directly they work but get too hot, never thought Id say that man all these years we went around dressed up in layers looking like a "Sausage Case" LOL the wonders of technology Im now thinking about a heated seat but man theyre almost $700 ouch!! Like asomeione said for now I aint got a pot to **** in!!! Ride Safe BV
Love mine HD, You need to get jacket liner not the vest so gloves plug into the arms.I got my liner at 12volt clothing.com.For the price you can extend the riding season quite awhile,
I switched from Gerbing/HD to Warmnsafe heated clothing. Warmnsafe is less expensive for one. I also like the way the jacket fits. They make a jacket that is longer in the torso and fits closer to the body.
There are two Gerbing gloves, large guantlet style and a newer smaller one. The large ones are very combersome. The smaller ones don't give much wrist coverage. Also, the Gerbing gloves have elements on the inside of the hand. If air is hitting your hand, then the outside may get cold.
The warmnsafe gloves and the heating elements on the outside. So, if you have have heated grips, these are REALLY good.
Warmnsafe also offers a discount for their products if you are a member of a Motorcycle Club, e.g, HOG, AMA, etc.
