Swapping out bars is a piece of cake. Take your time and it will go smooth. Mitch

Well,
Saturday night I pushed on the left side and now the bars are back to their original shape and measurments.
Went for a 200 mile ride on Sunday and they felt okay.
Will consider which bars I would like to change to.
Unlike the photos posted my wiring, except the throttle, is not run internallly.
Also is there any way to remove the grips intact to be reinstalled?
The other consideration is how many cables etc will I have to replace if I change the bars.
Guy at Harley said a lot of guys pay $100 for new bars then end up with $500 in longer cables and lines.

If you are happy with the bars you have then just tighten the clamp bolts and keep on riding. If not and you do change bars, cost will depend on the bars you choose. I like many on here went with the Khrome Werks Sweepers and the only thing you need to change is the clutch cable +4. You can get the bars and cable from a Forum vendor (Warehouse Direct) for around $100.00. They give us a 15% discount.

Default Uh, I don't get it...

...that is, just what do you "grab" when uprighting a scooter? I have heard of some tactical training video that demonstrates this. I guess I'd grab the hardbag guards and most assuredly use the hbars.

Good time to change bars to something you like... Plenty of options, no need for a new TGS, you can cut and splice if needed (id recomend ditching the green plug) do it right, do it once

Check out this post on my bar swap.
I never mentioned it but always felt my bars were different after I dropped my bike and I tried to pick it up by them. When I did get them off and checked, they were bent in on the side I tried to pick up by about 1/2".

These new HD bars are .060 thicker than stock but the TBW still fit.
