I have a pair sitting at Post Office. It's been hard for me to get them, as I have been out of town everyday until after PO closing.
They may look a bit 'cheap' to some members, but they are only for cold weather riding when we all dress goofy to stay warm anyway. I keep my assless chaps for cool riding, not cold riding. Some of you guys don't like it that I have assless chaps, either...got an *** problem maybe?
HAHA
See, SNS... we got lots in common even these and red bikes (cant help it you have an RG)
Told you before your bike is "looking good" especially in that color! The lowers are great, rock solid on the ride by the way....
It is funny. The motor pulls the air it needs through the A/C. It is not dependent on a clear line of sight to get what it needs. You needed an adjustment with the new A/C because there are more sq inches of filter, hence more air flow through it.
Same A/C filter, same surface area, the only difference is I took off the cover and mounted the center insert.
There is a loss of airflow each time air must turn a corner on its way into the carburetor. The fewer obstructions and the straighter the air flow into the mouth of the carb throat, the less restriction on air flow which results in a greater flow rate.
On my build it was enough of a change to lean it out more than I liked,
I'm in South Florida on my patio wearing long sweats, a scully, and my old Carhartt lined coat. It's down to 54 today!! I might not even be able to go in my pool tonight after work!
Just a goof for you folks up North, but when you live here a while this feels like a blizzard.
